LATE JULY 2022

Fisher’s Island Sound

Re-connecting with the pace of life on the coast

Tucked away on a quiet stretch of the Connecticut coast are some wonderful areas where the sound and smell of ocean air prevails. The old beach cruiser bicycles we used to get around are not built to go fast, but that becomes a compliment to the pace of life here. Calm sunrises and blissful days punctuated by swims in the ocean and plenty of laughter. It was a chance to slow down a little, exhale the busyness of daily life and inhale rejuvenating clean air. We were welcomed with warmth and hospitality from friends that made us feel like we were among family. A truly wonderful weekend.
