Kauai Valley

I peered out of the open door helicopter as we flew just below the clouds. The wind was rocking the small craft, but the feeling of watching the lush landscape pass below was all I could focus on. On the way back from the Na Pali coast we climbed over a ridge and suddenly, right on the other side, this valley with a river stretching far into the distance appeared. I used my shirt to wipe the water droplets off the lens and leaned over. The lush green Hawaiian landscape stretched out below me and filled my vision.
