Desert Monument

For years I’ve considered Monument Valley to be my “favorite place I’ve never been to”, meaning that it was a place I was sure I would fall in love with when I got the chance to visit. Needless to say, with panoramic views into the distant desert landscape and towering monolithic features, my first visit to this place was simply magical. As daylight faded I grabbed this photo that captures the rich desert hues in fading sunlight. To date, one of my favorite images.
